Another vote for this, or something similar. News from NAB tends to get buried in threads, so anything like this will help.

I too am interested in various doo-dads like external recorders (video or audio) small light kits, stabilizers, projectors, iPad apps, etc. We get so focused on cameras, often big cameras, we sometimes lose sight of some super cool things that get announced.
 
I'd love to get some info on lighting... so far everything seems to be about cameras cameras cameras. How's the LED world doing and what about all that plasma thing? Are there any other interesting things? Any decent replacements for fresnel lamps in terms of tonage quality.
 
SmallHD posted "NAB Special" prices on their website today (for both the DP4 and DP6), but . . . the bundle prices don't appear to have changed.
If you go by their booth would you find out what the NAB Special bundle prices are for DVXUSERs on the DP6?

The DP6 bundle will be available around the 24th, and Reed Phillips says if you buy now they'll honor the bundle price when it goes live.

hands on reviews of the DIT Station Rogue would be cool, I put down my deposit on one and would love to see what people who have really seen it in person have to say about it.

Also, what MAXX Digital has to offer this year...
 
Might have been said, but Thunderbolt raid drives. Anything new outside of Promise? Also, budget friendly post production monitors with HDMI and HD-SDI.
 
Hey all apologies for using this thread, though I didn't think starting a new one for it was appropriate, and the user meeting subforum was pretty dead. I'm leaving for NAB tomorrow (weds) morning coming from west Los Angeles, I haven't made hotel arrangements yet and wanted to see if anyone had one to split already. I'm waiting to hear back from an acquaintance though he's going for work so I don't know if he's willing to share just yet. Drop me a line if you are cool with sharing a room.
 
I want to know more lighting kits especially on led light, some new updates, new technology, new released products and so on.
