Hi all,

Just got a GH2. It's a bit small, and thumb crippling, but so far so good. I've been playing about with the 720p option, and I've read up on it in these forums. However, when I've tried to record at 720p, it doesn't seem to play back at 60fps, either in camera or on my PC. Unless it shoots at 60fps, and then plays back at 60fps, which seems to be a bit pointless. Anyone know how to shoot in 720p mode (which I understand is set at 60fps by default) and then play back at 24fps?

You have to conform it to play back at 24p in your editor. This process varies from NLE to NLE. If you use Final Cut, it came with Cinema Tools. Use cinema tools to conform your 60fps clip to 23.98 fps.

If you use a different NLE... you could probably just Google "conform 60p to 24p 'name of editor you use'"

I'm only familiar with FCP though... so that's how I do it.
