Just for reference how do you refer to the National Association of Broadcasters Show.

Is it N.A.B. or do you call it NAB like (Taxi Cab)

Nab .. untill someone went "what? oh, you mean N.A.B.."

now I use whatever. Mostly still nab ... it's faster.

Oh, and AWSOME topic for a poll BTW.

Having been from Vegas and going to the show every year and hearing it referred to on the TV news every year, it's fairly universal down there to call it N.A.B. I'd never heard "nab" until this subject came up on this board a couple of years ago.

I've never heard anyone say "nab"; only "N.A.B.". If someone were to say "nab", I'd think them a "noob". :cheesy:

i used to say Loo-may until I heard someone say Lumet. same thing with NAB until I went there. i guess stuff like this happens a lot now with so many people educating themselves on the internet.

I've always refered to it as N.A.B. Funny cos I just had someone ask me like 20 minutes ago if I was going nab.

I have always called it N.A.B. My dad worked in the industry in the 80s and he always called it N.A.B. So I grew up saying N.A.B. But a few of my colleges call it NAB thats why I issues the poll.

This is interesting.

N.A.B. definitely! That's how I've always said it, and that's what I hear other people saying in Vegas!
