MySpace HVX Group for Los Angeles

Good deal! :)

Also starting an HVX User Group to get together once a month or so. See MySpace.

I went to the link, clicked "join", and verified my descision, but still don't see myself listed as a member. I feel so rejected!

You did? Hmmmm. Does your MySpace profile mention anything about the HVX or film making? I got a few people trying to join but they seemed like spam-type requests.

If this happened to you, I apologize. I ask that everyone who sends a request to join please put something in your profile (words like HVX shooter, DP, video, film maker, etc) so I know you're for real. Because I actually check!

Thanks to the numerous people who have already joined. We will be having an HVX200 Los Angeles User's Group meeting to exhange tips n' tricks along with networking for jobs, etc. I've got one person's info. Another person expressed interest but he didn't give me his contact info (name, phone number, email). I'd like to get AT LEAST one more person before scheduling a meeting.

With the HVX Bootcamp and NAB coming up, we may wait until early May to actually meet with our group. However, let's get the ball rolling! :)

Thanks,

D~C
