myfs700 stop working with E-mount lenses

Help! My fs700 stop "talking" to my all e-mount lenses. I cant control aperture or use auto focus at all..But other lens yes. And top right "E61:30" keep blinking while using e-mount lenses. I never meet this problem before..anyone help?

I try use A to E-mount adapter it work. After i reset my fs700 also no use. But i use A-E mount no problem at all. It just cant change focus, cant adjust aperture as well as some other setting that require sony lens. I tried use my a7s put the lens apeture on f1.8 and take it out without off the camera to make the aperture stay on f1.8 so plug into fs700 it will stay on f1.8. But if i close my a7s, the aperture will close down to f22 and put it on my fs700 it will just stay on f22. Focusing is just no way to done it manually, it doesnt change anything at all..worst nightmare suddenly happen, next week going to use it to shoot movie
 
Was gonna ask same thing. Try carefully cleaning the contacts (the ones that say "do not touch" in the manual) ;)
Make sure you use something designed for electrical components cleaning.
Maybe there's just some grease or dirt on them.

And please report back here how things work out for you, it's good to know if it happens to someone else.

I'm working on a show where we had the same problem with one of the cameras owned by the production. Seemed it might've been related to water exposure or at least it started happening at a time when the camera may have been exposed to some rain. It gave an error with e-mount lenses but worked fine with EF via metabones adapter and a-mount via la-ea adapter. The camera also had some previous problem with raw output I don't know much about. It got sent into Sony and they still are working on it but didn't have diagnosis after over a week...
 
This happen just in very very bad time to me. And yet so suddenly and random without know what is the actual problem. In my country it is very hard send to Sony to get repair and send back in short time i believe. Next week gonna use it for fighting scene, i think the only solution now is just use other lenses for it.

The lenses will not loose when attached to the mount.

Nyvz- well sony still cannot find the problem that causing it? I wonder if there is anything cause by my a7s,some setting or bug make/lock the lens only can work on a7s or other nex camera but not the fs700, but i think not possible.

Anyone know sony support email that i can use for contact.
 
I switch my lenses between my FS700 and A7s as well, without problem, so you can probably rule that out.

Did you try cleaning the contacts? On both lenses and FS700 to be sure...
 
These things are stressful. I now usually bring 2 Metabones - regular and speed booster - to every shoot just because of the high failure rate.
 
i keep trying still it won't fix. super headache, my fs700 not even 1 year yet and occur in important shooting time. I also can't get any email reply back from Sony for assist in this problem.
 
Unbelievable.

Is that 1 year of ownership from new ?

Reasons like this is why you need insurance on your gear so you can put in a claim immediately when everything goes wrong inbetween jobs.
 
Yes new one. So i very surprise my fs700 suddenly occur this problem and i'm a person taking very good care with all my equipment. I put it in dry cabinet, clean it, handle with care....Then this problem occur appear in wrong time and i hardly find more information and more ppl having this problem as well. I believe still under warranty, but the problem now is sony service is poor, especially for my country is much more worst to getting support and repair done in short time.
