Como's back. back again
so i have a lot of videos and i decided to make a website. I am in dreamwevaer, and im terrible at deisinging websites lol...i have no clue wut to do so im pretty much guessing and stuff adn testing it in the browser, (or preview window)

now, this site isnt to show that i am a website designer, but to show off my work, that i have done with my camera.......so im not trying to make it spectacular, i just wanna let ppl see my website, for the videos, not for the design and layout

its not up yet, so here is a picture of the home page.....so far

two suggestions.
1. remove the shadow from the letters. it makes it hard to read.
2. change the color scheme.
 
He needs to get some sun.


It's simple, which is good. I agree about the shadows; maybe tighten them up. The colors don't bother me.

The colors you are using in your design

They don't seem to match well, and are a bit distracting and honestly, hard to look at.
It makes it difficult to read the page - and I agree with the above comment as far as the shadow on your text, it makes it hard to read as well.

Look around at other sites that you like the look of, and make note of their color scheme.
You don't want the color overpowering the text.
 
1. too wide - it should not be wider than 750 or 800 pix.
2. change the colours
3. don't use quotation marks - they are for quotations
4. be careful about using the hvx in your logo. it's trademarked to hell
5. put some effort into building buttons that flow with the design. your buttons look pasted on

other than that a good effort
