As a guy with some hefty Canon ef glass, and a brand new GH3..I am very much looking forward to when they drop the EF to MFT speedbooster on us.

But As you know they've been working on it for a while, and no one knows when they will have it available. Everytime I contact them, they just say "pls wait" "we are working on it"
So I did some detectiv-ing of sorts. I know that their 'optics' are designed by Caldwell Photographic in the USA.

So I contacted them, and asked if there are any words on the EF to MFT, and they basically told me the biggest issue holding back the speedbooster was getting the Canon firmware working correctly, and that they are making "great progress" (I wonder if Canon is giving them a hardtime, fueling the rivalry between DSLR and MFT lol)

but alas, still no date. Hope this helps anyone wondering what is going on.
does anyone have any more insight?

That doesn't really make much sense as they've had electronic EF-to-Emount non-Speedbooster adapters working for a couple of years now. So it seems they've had the EF side of things figured out for a while now. My guess would be that it's the m4/3 side of the equation that's holding things up.
