when I burn dvd is says "put burn once cd in" i already have a brand cd inside... just keep say that.

when i burn svcd is say, buffer under run.. failed.

when i use Uled dvd movie factory 3 suite, everything is burnable.. no problems, but a slight image degrade is noticeable.

anyone know what's the problem? i use pioneer DVD-RW DVR-107D burner.

As with any DVD authoring program, I would recommend creating an ISO image of your DVD and burning the DVD with a dedicated burning program (i.e. Nero, Roxio, etc.).

Too many people have problems with burning a DVD from their authoring program.  I would think it would just be easier leave the authoring to the authoring program and the burning to the burning software (which most likely came with the burner so it should work with the burner).

Try this --

Uninstall Vegas (unless you've got something really important you don't want to lose by the re-install, but your project files should remain unaffected).

Uninstall and reinstall your burner drivers/software.

Reinstall Vegas.

Vegas has a beautifully quick install time, so this should be relatively painless.

If this doesn't work, let us know.

Are you trying this in Vegas or in DVD Architect?  I re-read your post at the top and it's a little confusing.  At first I thought you were talking about only VCDs, but I'm not sure about that now.

i am talking about using v4 to burn svcd, dvd...etc which it doesn't work.

Well, you can't burn a DVD straight from Vegas. You'll get an error if you put a DVD in the burner and try to make a VCD from it.

I don't have any experience burning VCDs from Vegas or SVCDs at all -- though I've seen trouble with burner drivers if the installation sequence is wrong. I'm not sure what would cause the buffer underrun error -- unless you're setting your quality settings too low? A higher bitrate, maybe?

You might want to try Sony's support board.
