Im sorry the quality sucks. I had to make a 1.8 gig file fit into 8mb, but i think the quality is watchable. Its ashame though cause I put like 60 hours into post on this film. Please watch it for what it is.

Really would love to hear comments? bad or good!

thanks so much for watching, please let me know what you think?

Hum... 1st nice work, You completed a project which is no easy task.

I think the piece should be edited tighter. I found myself looking down at my keyboard and thinking about things i have to do today after about 30 seconds.

The filters also seemed a bit heavy.

That's all:)

Its very hard to speak in full detail about the look of your short... yet very easy for me to admit I loved what I saw. I liked your story... theres a lot of shouting out of this short. I would love to see a full resolution version.
By the way... I know your lead actor, I met him while shooting "Closure" his first 35mm project and he told me on the set about this movie. I wasn't quiet expecting to see this coming.

Great work runlola

35mm?

35mm?

Yeah man, arron is a great guy, a real pleasure to work with as im sure you know. 35mm!! thats awsome. I dint have my dvx yet so I shot this project 60i on an ag-dvc60, but i pulled a lot of post trick to get that filmic look, im glad you enjoyed it.

I definitly agree with DVmaker about the first 30 seconds of the short. It's really slow pacing and the music, as epic as it is should not just come and go like that. I really liked the coming out of the building editing sequence I thought it was very well done. The stroy had a good progression. I think it sux you had to lose so much quality in compression but thats the way it goes huh? Can't wait to see watcha do with your new DVX:)

yah, first 30 seconds are supposed to grab the audience, not push them away. also, i don't know if you have another shot of him holding up the picture, but there is totally a camera shadow projected onto his upper back. i'd get rid of that shot if possible. also, watch the music between flashbacks. it seemed to me that you faded it out way too fast and then when you went to him it immediately started playing. mix those songs together a little better so it doesn't seem like it jumps back and forth.

Hello fellow SVAer!

The movie from what I saw looked good, but to really comment on the quality of your "film look" I'd have to see this in high resolution because it's pixelated enough that all the film look subtleties are hidden.

But what I saw looks good, I don't have much of a problem with the color correction filters.
