My Summer 2011 DP Reel :)

I'm actually thinking of changing the music on my reel since I've had the current one for almost 3 years. Anyone know/suggest a good reel track?

Pick something incredibly obscure. Like, make it yourself!

I only say because every time I pick a track for my reel, I find someone else very soon who has that exact same track. Most recently, I picked a track that I thought fit the reel very nicely, only to find out that it was the same as in Vincent Freakin Laforet's reel.

Unfortunately I don't have Hans Zimmer like talent to create my own music but I understand where you're coming from.

You definitely have done some really great looking day exteriors, my only concern is that your reel is 90% day exteriors, which might be tough if someone wants to hire you for something with any interiors or night exteriors. I seems like the only interiors you have on there are either performances, or look like they may not even have any artificial lighting.

Then again I might just be biased since my reel is 2min long and only has <2sec worth of day exteriors and that is the only shot that has no artificial lighting. I figure people looking to hire a cinematographer want to be able to see that you can light interiors and night exteriors, not just day exteriors.

I thought it was great....

One question: How do you do the time lapse with the camera moving slowly? I assume slider + a motor of some sort?
