My sequence is missing!? please help

Hi,
I've been editing a short film project for quite some time now.... in FCP 6, and
everytime I open FCP it opens up back to where I left off, the sequence is open on the bottom, etc... - all fine.

But just today I opened it and the sequence timeline wasn't open or visable. Yet the project was (the shots / bins were on the left side as usual).

I searched through the bins and found no sequence ! just shots. .....I never delted the sequence, I know that for a fact. and no one else is home or would have touched it. (I was working on it last night, and before I stopped I saved then closed FCP - the sequence timeline was open on the bottom)

is there any way to find or search the computer for the sequence?
I checked the autosave files, opened them and they open but no sequence is visable...just all the shots / bins.

Please help

thanks!

Bah! I don't know how to delete threads....

turns out it was accidentily saved onto my other harddrive for some reason. I found it, it opened and is as was when I stopped last night.

sorry.

Always a good idea to keep multiple copies of your last FCP file day to day on different drives or cloud based. That's where all the post work on the back end exists anyway, the stuff is already shot and hopefully stored across multiple drives.
