My Reel

just some suggestions: liked the reel, but do your reel some justice by compressing it as a quicktime video as opposed to a wmv if possible. Less waiting = more fun. Less pixellating = better image. If compression issues are throwing a wrench into your output process, go get "The Art of Encoding Using Compressor" DVD at: rippletraining.com

nice work!,

Adam

Nice display of technique.

Minor compression issue; I would heed ICED OUT!'s warning. Otherwise this would be a great video!

just to reiterate - QT is best! WMV .hmmm. buffering issues.
nice music choice! i like the nature shots.

Thanks for the kindness everyone. Also, thanks for the advice about QT. I have been playing around with reencoding as a .mov, but it's not as easy as I expected. I encoded it as a .wmv in Adobe Premiere, but it does not seem to handle .mov as well. Any suggestions? Thanks for the tip, ICED, but before I buy anything, I want to try to do it for free first. Thanks.

You seriously need some color correction. A lot of people miss that. Your shots would look so hot with color correction. Pump the contrast a lil bit.

encode the video as an .swf it'll mean buying a program if you havent got onw but it's well worth the dollar. The easy choices are either Flix or Sortenson Squeeze. Flix is cheaper if your low on cash. I think they do a package for about $50

.swf, eh? I would have thought that would be VERY compressed. Am I mistaken, or is that a flash file?

And thanks for the tip, Lucky.
