My newest video Skillz "crazy world"

[sebassttiann]

Me and the company i work for just finished up skillz "crazy world". turned our decent. i was part of a 3 man directorial/production/editing team and wrapped this up in about 1.5 months time. shot entirely on hvx 200, edited in FCS and colored in COLOR. let me know what you think.

also premiered on mtv2 this week

Very nice. I really liked it. The concept, locations, and creation were fantastic. I liked the coloring too. However, I felt that the POV got to be a little too shaky at times and some of the choppy cuts were distracting.

Congrats on MTV!

I'd have to agree.
I like the idea of the piece. But I'm afraid I couldn't make it all the way through because the motion was just doing my head in.

I would have liked it more if it was interspersed with some steady shots.

Exiting stuff though, the whole MTV thing - well done

Good stuff!

Thanks guys i appreciate the comments. just a little info on the video. Im the police officer in the convenience store as well as all the hands and feet and the character you see in the end, the war vet is the executive producer and the camera man in the news scene was the other editor. if your not familiar with the rapper he is the homeless man with the sign.

Budget was rather small so we called just about every friend we could think of that would fit a certain part and made it happen.
was shot in a two block radius of Norfolk Virginia, our production office and a convenient store.

definately a challenge we are used to rap videos with girls clubs and cars type stuff so there were a few re shoots to get everything right. and the only regret is we wished we would have made the dance sequence a little bit more outrageous or out there but time just became an issue. thank you for comments and support.
