my new intro for my production

Re: my new intro for my production

The TV is real cool. Where did you get that TV image? Is your new breed of film making related to TV movies?

I think your final production logo could be composed a little better. For me, the first read was "A new breed," which I'm guessing you want to be the second read. Making "Raddrew Prod" taller might make the order clearer.

Re: my new intro for my production

I also would put more emphasis on RADREW PRODUCTIONS and I would only have it come into CLEARNESS one time and hold. IMHO

Still, its really good. I like it. Good job!

Re: my new intro for my production

You should ramp out of the push in. This will smooth the motion out a bit.

"Filmmaking" is one word.

The "a new breed" seperated from "of filmmaking" is compositionally very disconnected, so it is at first confusing. I would not seperate the tag graphically.

I would introduce your production company name, then introduce your "a new breed of filmmaking" tag.

Your cropped CUs of the title add to the confusion (and this is actually a cool approach). If the production company name was seperated from your tag, I think it would be less confusing...and you could keep the cool factor.

The TV looks cool.

I had to watch this twice to really understand what the name of your production company is. Focus on being clear and I think you'll have a good intro.

Re: my new intro for my production

thanks a lot for the comments guys.
that television is an old television we had sitting in our garage. i baught some black velvet for a back drop for the television.

Re: my new intro for my production

I dig the TV and your f/x work quite a bit, but it seems like 25 seconds might be a bit too long to stick on the front of a film. Most production company logos come and go b/t 5 and 10 seconds, I think...

Re: my new intro for my production

IMO, that is REALLY long for an intro. plus as stated above, it is VERY hard to understand what the point is. it's too disjointed.

but it looks sweet!

Re: my new intro for my production

It looks kinda like the TV push in my latest submission

Cool tho :)

Re: my new intro for my production

looks very cool! I like starting on static, but I would not flip flop around from your logo to static so much.. make it shorter... and maybe keep moving into the TV insted of jumping into it. but it looks awesome.

Re: my new intro for my production

My only thought is I agree with the first post it looks just like romeo and juliets opening which could make it seem hoaky....hoeky...not sure how to spell that word. Just a thought , especially because its 25 seconds long. Which sort of goes against the idea of a new breed, just an observation. In no way do I want to be negative the work is solid and looks great plus the fact if we are comparing it to a movie well cheers to you!

Re: my new intro for my production

Man iI am glad it wasn't just me. I had a hard time reading it, I couldnt make out what it read. Did you do the Film Makin on purpose or did it get cut off.

I like the three dimensional text but not very easy to read.

I liked though.

Hope you post any re-makes. oh and don't worry as soon as I get something done I will post for every one to nit-pick . It is the only real way to learn.

And don't take anything to heart, i know when someone else comments on my stuff I feel bad at first but it really helps me do it better next time.

Later.

Re: my new intro for my production

I dig the concept and the text style. But overall, I think it's two hairs too long.

Re: my new intro for my production

Looks very nice. IMHO I would shorten the static a bit. Shakespeare said, "Brevity is the source of wit."
