These are from a recent short we just did... I'm still deciding on which Magic Bullet look I want.. there are so many good ones. Any comments on the stills though?

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

The last shot had overhead lighting... The first 3 just had 2 worklights shining on him, nothing big... the originals dont seem bad, so I'm hoping its just some tweaking with the settings of magic bullet... Its just preset ("Dream Like") right now.

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

ya, the last 3 are too dark
first one looks good though
I'd like to see some footage

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

I concur with the "a little dark" comments, and John's disturbing reminder about The Glove. Fortunately, that doesn't bring back memories. Anyway, the stills look nice aside from levels and I'm glad to know I can expect good things from work lights.

looks kinda exciting man whatever it is you are working on!

anyways, yea, could use a little more lighting, just a few highlights here and there would make all the difference and still maintain that dark look, keep it up!

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

Maybe a little too much "hands on" experience but that cop is real isn't he?

little to the left...that's the stuff! :-*

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

I'm working on boosting the levels... what do ya'll suggest as the best way of doing this, without increasing the graininess much. Magic Bullet contributed to some of the dark spots, but most of it was just the lack of lighting... any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

Using Premiere Pro 1.5 now, with magic bullet plug-in.

Also have Vegas 4.0 or After Effects 6.5 Pro, but I'm not as familiar with them

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)

I would know how to lighten in FCP...maybe a Premiere guy can give you a technique.

Re: My New Grabs (Magic Bulleted)
