My new baby...

[mikkowilson]

...has arrived!

Well today is "the big day" as the last part of my new shiny Steadicam Archer arrived. :love4:

The first flight.

It's been a long time coming, but I finally have a (big) rig of my own!

- Mikko ... "thou shalt party tonight"

[Matt Sconce]

So, what was the last part... an XL-1?

Ummmmm..... where's the DVX?

[Brandon Rice]

Nice rig dude.

[Matt Grunau]

Good for you.

I hate you of course for it, but that's a given.

Post some test shots soon.

[Owen]

You're going to sleep in the vest, right? Never let go!

[Beat Takeshi]

Theres some weird black, red and white growth on the end of it. I would send it back for a new one.

I think that's just his practice camera. The good stuff only comes out on production days!

LOL!! I like that one best.

I knew I would get crap for the camera, but don't worry, it's not mine. :nads: It belongs to a TV station where I'm working. I don't actually own a camera at the moment (sold it ages ago when saving for the rig).

- Mikko

[Mark Harris]

Chicks must LOVE you.

Yeah, I'm thinking about selling my camera to buy a really nice tripod to put it on. :2vrolijk_08:

Phew, that was a close one.

[J.R. Hudson]

What is that hideous thing on top ?

(Muahhaahahha)

[mikkowilson]

You know what guys, you are right. Someone send me your DVX or HVX so I can get a proper picture. :cheesy:

- Mikko

[Owen]

I think John is referring to the light... It looks like one of those disposable flashlights painted black:

[Jeremy Ordan]

Yeah, I'm thinking about selling my camera to buy a really nice tripod to put it on. :2vrolijk_08:

****ing brilliant comment

[Blaine]

You need to shoot something with that badboy, Mikko, so we can see how good Steadicam footage looks in the hands of a master...

I'm still laughing from this comment.

Congratulations, Mikko. We all know how long you've been wanting one. You and your Archer make a nice couple.

[Cryogenic Filmworks]
