Hey guys,

I've posted a rough cut of this a few months back. I changed it a little, mostly the editing, and i'll be working on color correction soon.

I was the Director and the DP and did a test shooting the DVX in 24Adv mode side by side with B&W 16mm stock and may I say most people tought that the DVX footage was a telecine from the 16mm footage!!!

Hope you guys enjoy:

Darn you Marluco! This is like time travel! I loved it! Is there any way you can post a higher resolution version somewhere?
Muito obrigado!

Hi Marluco,

I enjoy the "cinéma muet" look of your film. Very good caméra and lighting for black and white to give the dramatic effect. Sometime the white are wash out but it's may be the Quicktime media. Also, When the beggar hit the man, i will have put a change in the music, more dramatic one maybe in that part. Pretty good work.

p.s.: It will be nice to have the story text in English too...or french!! :)

Hey guys...

Thanx for the replies...

About the whites... it got a lot whiter when i exported (and also my editor did some verry odd color corrections choices! :p)

i'll be posting the text here really soon until i make an english version!!

later...

Marluco,

That was fantastic. The imagery, composition, lighting and general cinematography was superb. You created a very authentic throwback to the olden days of cinema.

Very well done,

Steven
