The Panny 14-140, and an olympus with a lumix adapter. In the past they have both worked fine but now, although I see an image, I can't adjust iris or focus.
Does anyone know of a setting that might affect this?
The only setting I know that can cause this is selecting auto focus and auto iris. Too obvious I know, but I mention it because I actually did that once and thought it was kaput! I don't mind looking daft if it helps!
Cheers!

I sometimes have to remove and reseat Lumix lenses to ensure all the contacts are... well, contacting.
Also take a close look at the contacts pins on your AF100... they have a tendency to bend or break - mine are, which is why I have to do the above. FWIW, I rarely use Lumix lenses with it anymore as a result.
I had some of the pins on my AF bend and actually damage the contacts on the Lumix lenses I have. Pain in the rear to get Panasonic to replace it under warranty (they think I am a gorilla that throws my lenses at my camera to mount them).
Be very careful if you do have some pins that are broken or loose, especially with lenses that actually contact them. Unfortunately, there is no simple replacement for the contacts, as it seems to be permanently attached to the sensor and any replacement costs more than buying a brand new AF100.
Thanks for the ideas. I've tried the lens check, and the auto settings, and it's neither of those - I've looked at the contacts and to the eye they are perfect. Hmmm.....
Check the contacts on the lens. Are there any grooves in them (like in the picture below)? If so, you have an issue with one of the contacts on the camera body.
You're not using a focus/iris controller like the Varizoom are you? Do you have anything plugged into the FOCUS/IRIS port on the back?
