now i don't mean it doesn't stay when and where I want it to stay.

but my LCD screen feels a little loose when i open it or flip it.

and when I say loose I mean looser then I would like it to feel, and looser then when one first buys the camera.

Is there a way for me to tighten it?

Or is this a task that needs to be done at a service center?

I have the same problem - I also use a Hoodman(LCD sun shade) when in the sun and it just rotates and points to the ground. The Hoodman doesn't weigh that much but it's almost useless to put in on the LCD. Haven't figured out how to tighten it.

I also have this problem after falling over and coming down hard on my elbow of the arm that held my camera. As I had made the mistake of buying a grey import (ie a foreign market camera unoffically imported) Panasonic NZ refused to fix my camera, even for money.

I have learned to live with this by lightly wedging a thick elastic band in near the pivot. Not ideal, but it works, even with a sun shade on. It adds some friction without stressing the screen - I've used this for over a year now.

I had the same issue while filming a night shot for the fest .this never happened before using the hoodman , it can be very irritating to say . A solution would be nice .
