Wow! Scouring the threads and didn't even know this was going on!
Kerberos is pretty much my movie, so anything bad I'll be happy to take the blame. I cut the trailer, like Stan said, to show off a bit of the action. I can promise it's not even close to showing it all, and maybe it's hard to believe from this, but I don't even consider it an action movie at all - maybe a crime thriller with a lot of action though!
This trailer I should maybe have called a demo - I was trying to show off some of the diverse action we pulled off on a micro budget movie, and stir up some the action junkies out there. I was very tempted, and I guess I still am, to cut a trailer that makes it look like a horror movie, maybe another to look like a romance lol I think it would be a fun editing exercise. Then of course everyone will really be confused.
' Getting ready to cut a new trailer version soon. We had an early test screening last year at Disney and it was really well received, we've had some great in depth reviews, but no one - not even Stan has seen the final movie. I was still cutting, working on post sound, did the mix in London, but had weeks of work to still do when I got back.
One thing I am excited about is how many people have really responded to the acting. I have showcase performances from at least 30 actors in this thing and to have that recognized on such a fast paced trailer like this is awesome, and even though I push for a detailed, multi layered story and certainly am a bit of freak about the look - those performances - including Stan's, are what I am most proud of.
thanks again guys for watching and reading!
