I'm fairly new to the dvx world. Often when I am shooting outside in sunlight the image will have a blue tint to it. Any suggestions? Gamma maybe? I'm not sure.:huh:

Make sure your camera is white balanced properly. Start out using the 5.6K preset (when outside).
Set the white balance switch to preset and then push the little black button on the front of the camera a few times - it will toggle between 3.2K and 5.6K. You want to be on 5.6 for outdoors and 3.2 for indoors (generally speaking).
If this is not working move the switch to A and then fill your frame with something white and push and hold (for a sec) the little black button. It should say OK on the lcd screen.
Hope this helps. This is very basic info. There are many ways to adjust the color - but the white balance is the place to start.
