here is my new hvx controller, well she's a couple weeks old, but after the hit she took today I tought I should take a couple photos and post it. this baby at around 8 30 am took a dive out of a 2nd story window hit the driveway bounced a bit, has a very minor ding I couldnt get it to show up in the photos, and a few scratched and still works perfectly. if you're going to build one after this I truly believe in the aluminum boxes. Thanks Bob for the toggle Idea, this comes in handy.

Could you put a record on/off light on it and a timecode readout?

I tried that, it doesn't work, ans the rec pause/ doesnt start a signal, with one push and stop it with another, it starts with the down, an stops with the up, so the light would only be on while you held the button down. and the power is very low, so the led is very dim.
