My Heinz spot - HVX200/M2/CS3

I took the opportunity to create a Heinz ketchup spot to put my HVX200+M2 adaptor and the CS3 MFX updates through their paces. I’m happy to report that both PPro & AE worked flawlessly, including the use of the Dynamic Link. The M2 is fitted with Nikon lenses. The spot can be found here:

Wow. Good job on the roto work. Or was it ALL rotoscoping?

Did you make sure your colors and settings were right on set, and then just hit the Leave Color effect in AE?

It must have been tricky with the close up shot, with the depth of field in your way or controlling the colors...
 
Thanks for the response! Yes, it was all roto work in AE. I wasn't satisfied with the result of the Leave Color effect I was getting, so I relied on the pen tool. And the roto mattes gave me the control I needed to adjust the hue of red without compromise. So to paraphrase that time-worn quote, the pen (tool) was mightier than the effect... ;)
