MY "Heinz Commercial" !!

[Melchior]

I enjoyed watching everyone else's that were posted here, and the critiques are much better here than what I've seen on the non-film maker forums I posted on, so I figured I would share.

Here's mine, let me know what you think.

Some fun facts:
-she's two years old, and its her first acting experience
-that's her real grandpa, another non-actor
-i had 2 hours to shoot it! I thought I had 6 going in, but her attention span wasn't there, (i should have thought of this going in!)
-the whole thing cost about $200.00 to make

Tech:
-DVX100B
-Final Cut Pro
-GarageBand
-worklights I bought from Home Depot for $120.00, then gelled with CTB.

I didn't have much by way of financial resources, so we went low-tech all the way. I drove into manhattan to borrow my friends gels and my other friends tripod. On the time span... I thought I had 6 hours, the girl and her family show up and tell me they have to leave by 1 am, which cut down the shoot to 3 hours. Then her attention span started to disappear.

All in all, I'm happy with the spot, and am glad to share it with you.

It was simple and well done. I liked it. It was different from most of the joke commercials I have seen so far.
