Grip CREW? not a grip guy, but a crew???

DP issues : we work them out with deneb....that means....you know what that means

Grip Crew: well no lights for this one again, we will be using sunlight and house lighting but we made the script this way to help us, for dolly, everybody is doing some gripping hahahahaha...

we have so few resources that its just a funny thing when someone asks about a dedicated DP, or stuff like that
 
What's it like making films over there anyways? Are there a lot of people you can pull together or is that just not the case?

Um, my imagination is running wild as to what that means ....

trial by combat?

divining the answer from deneb's reading of chicken entrails?
 
for now lets just say that since i ve never studied filmmaking or anything like that, i have no ties or liaisons with pros or students

people who help/work with me are friends and family and only my brother is a professional in sound/music but has never done tv or films except for my projects

i dont even have friends who are in the field

going about banging on doors asking for collaboration is harder here because there arent so many people doing what you do and the way you do it, people here feel so 'pro' in their own little arrogant heads that even a suggestion of working in a no budget no experience short about a forum etc etc would be welcomed with bitter laughter...

this is another reason why i m considering moving to the states in a couple of years

anyway...i m off to continue my beautiful voyage in the world of meredith gray('s anatomy)

Where in the states? Los Angeles? I'll tell ya, if you move here, there are so many people who are willing to help their fellow filmmakers... :beer:

Hey, you can be Tom's house guest! The next Cato! I hear he has a nice Malibu mansion that he's paid up through 2008 for finishing Maliboo!
 
ha!! I wish I had a Malibu mansion to film that thing... if that were the case, I'd start the whole thing over again and not make the mistakes that I'd made with Maliboo!
 
Just getting caught up on all of your updates folks. Looks good. 103 shots, did I read? Wow. That is pretty amazing. Liking your location stills as well. Interesting choices on not using artificial lighting, etc. I'm interested to learn more and to see how it all unfolds.

It looks like you guys have your piece coming togethor quite nicely. I am excited for you!

hahahahahaha!!!! I dont know Mark...malibu mansion? then my friends would all be so jealous....but if he has some nice treats that come along with the mansion...then i ll consider this

Thanx Jason for checking up on us!

Not using artificial lighting is not exactly a creative choice, its a one way road coz we still havent picked up any lights for our equipment and then I started rewriting this script and from the original version it took place during the day in outdoors locations...so one thing let to the other and we are going this natural lighting way.

To be honest...we dont know if its going to work but we ll sure try.
