And it starts now....

due to some unforeseen problems, shooting for tomorrow has been cancelled. We will try and squeeze the 2 scenes planned for tomorrow with Sunday's scenes.

*i knew i was too optimistic about this one*

UPDATE

Ok....I have just transfered all our footage to my pc along with a 40minute BTS video that Steve_Arm was shooting! I am also waiting on video and photos from Stratos' digital camera.

I haven't seen our footage yet but in all honesty, from the moment we where shooting I was very relaxed! It was amazing. The first time we really rocked during shooting. Of course, don't let me be misunderstood, I am not saying we pulled out a miracle or became pros overnight, but compared to the way we were used to working and all..this experience today was ...just amazing....and very exhausting.

2 outdoors scenes, 2 indoors. 8 hours with a 90' break for a nice meal (accompanied with lots of white wine).
The outdoors scenes were a really cool thing, coz we were shooting on the streets, with people passing by and all, and we were so focused on our scenes that we were not feeling weird about all of us moving around, with tripods, dollies, boom poles and all and shouting to one another...at noon...hahaha...that was so ****ing funny come to think of it...

Our actors did GREAT! And Vasso our lead was REALLY GOOD! I felt extremely satisfied as the day progressed as all our ideas and shots were going as planned and we did all we had on our storyboards and even more stuff were tested, ideas were just being born on the spot! A great team!!!!

I feel very relieved now coz I know that when we are organised and focused and plan things we can really do good stuff with our little camera :) I feel very optimistic for this one, I cant wait to finish it, and edit, and do the music with my brother......

Ok as you can tell i m really excited and tired....the little devil in my head is telling me to start some rough editing and cut some grabs for your guys but the little angel is screaming to me 'LIE DOWN-WATCH A MOVIE-GET SOME SLEEP'......

What am i gonna do?

Update about evrything going on the last few days...

This Sunday was exhausting in many ways for c2tc productions! For the first time we organised so well that we finished 4 scenes in 3 different locations (2 outdoors and 1 indoor). Most details were described by Versus in his previous posts and you can see some photos.

I have just seen a small edited clip and it looks astonishing! John has done a great job editing and filtering the shot, Vasso acted exactly as we wanted and I am starting to believe that 'my Heart Is Vain' will be our best job for the time being...

Lots of stuff still to do but one of the greatest gains is that we finally have some people who like joining us in acting, producing and overall helping our filming efforts. :)
 
UPDATE

I skipped work today, decided to stay home and chill. I did some rough editing on the scenes we did on Sunday and I must say I am extremely happy. There is a catch however. It seems we will NOT be competing, lol. Our fate is to be NCs forever! Not that we mind actually, we love what we're doing so far and as I have said tons of times before, fests are just motivation. So we are probably going to be submitting this one for exhibition.

The only thing that bugs me is that I was sure we had a 6minute script...guess I will have to work on that in the future coz if it was a job then we would be in lots of trouble, but hey, its not a job anyhow so we are ok...

Guess I will leave the prizes for the others....hehehehehehehe
 
We regret to inform that some personal problems for one of us make it impossible to continue with this production. Really, there is nothing else to disclose right now, it's quite personal. Sorry for any inconvenience.

 
John, I know that I speak for many when I say I am greatly disappointed to hear this news!!!

I hope that the "personal problem" is resolved and that you can continue with production!

I am indeed saddened by this, as I really was looking forward to this piece! As were many others... hope everything is ok....
 
What? Oh, no. Man, I am gone for a little and all of this huge news is breaking on everyone's project.

I am very sorry to hear that you will not be able to continue. I hope that something will work out to allow you to complete this project. You had an interesting concept from what I could tell, and you guys seemed so pumped to be working on this project.

Guys thanx for the support. At the moment I can't go into the details of this. Unfortunately, things dont always turn out as you want or wish. I cant guarrantee the completion of my Heart Is Vain so instead of dragging our feet in here and backing out later or keep coming back with irrelevant info to keep it alive, we decided to put a closure for the moment or at least until our problems our resolved and we can give something concrete to you. There are still 2 months left and a lot can happen. I hope things turn out good for us. God knows how much effort we put so far in this and we'd hate to put it on the shelf indefinitely. Time will tell.
