...the music is Careless Love (an old W.C. Handy song) done by Bonnie "Prince" Billy...aka Will Oldham....from the album Ease Down the Road... he's a Louisville native who's made a bit of a name for himself....if you like this...you'll like the rest of his stuff...but be prepared to dig....some of it's readily available....others are pretty scarce... When I picked it, I had literally thumbed through one or two pieces of music...lined it up and rendered... again just dumb luck... since my post the other day...I've played with a few other tracks... a couple from Tortoise and I like them just as much... really not hard to mess this one up... although I DID try Billy Preston's Outa-Space...... mmmm.... not so much...:) I hope to have a better res version up this weekend thanks to Mr Ramjet....
 
Looks great. Very smooth. Amazing to watch the clouds change form. I loved the song... In fact, I went and ordered the CD from amazon... can't wait to get it. :thumbup:
 
....thanks....I'm pretty happy with it...but the perfectionist in me keeps beating me up over the lens flare and it's effects....flare is ok,...but seeing the inside of the lens...not so good....I'm sure that has an official name, but I dunno what it is....refraction, maybe?..... I should've taken a bit more time to set everything up...but... it is what it is...

Looked nice man. Might want to do some more shots instead of just leaving the camera in one position for that long. You know, mix it up a little.
 
...oh yeah... Just like I did picking the music, I just set the camera up....focused a little bit...and then walked away.... it was more about getting the damn thing to work.... I do have a shot of shadows moving across the deck.... looks good....but is even less eventful than the clouds...:huh:... If it stays nice tomorrow, I've got a few ideas... and Ramjet has been really cool about allowing me access to his site.... if they work, then I'll post em. I wanted to get over to the track for training one morning...but the Fall meet is over so that'll have to wait....anyway...thanks for all the nice comments......you guys WRAWK!!....:huh::huh:

....wow....so this is what it feels like being in demand...:D.. again....it's nothing special...pretty dull actually.....the last portion was an attempt to get water evaporating....but it was just too cold for that to happen and I was running out of light... but I stuck it on there because of the fly....woulda been cooler in slow mo, I guess..... anyway...here's the shadows.......

thanks for the inspiration...I decided to try the 2FPS file work around....I shot some footage of various sites around the Utica, NY area during the past few days. The file went to compressor and is saved as an MP4 large progressive. It is about 25 Megs.
How can I share this file with the DVX community and get some feedback on what I might be able to do to improve my future time-lapse footage.

....heh heh....what a surprise!...TW and I know each other.... He comes to my town about once a year to help out with this horse fixation we have here.....
