My first test with the Letus35

This looks great, where do I get this adapter letus35
Ive had my fx-1 now for about 3 months,I just need to add some pieces with it.Did you use the 30fps or the 24fps

He probably used 25fps (pal). You can find the letus at www.letus35.com. I ordered one last week.

macgregor, what did you think of the light loss? Was it very evident? I already used the brevis35 and the M2 and when I put each of these in front of the camera I wouldn't see any apparent light loss (though I've read they loose between zero to hald a stop). I'm really looking forward to trying it out with the A1. I just got a set of fast nikon lenses that I think will be a big help dealing with the letus's light loss (which I belive is aroun one stop to one stop and a half)

Leave it to Macgregor to show off some awesome looking footage. You've got so much skill, dude.

I wish I could see more Letus35a footage for the HVX.

THis was an enhanced version without the flipping solution, because the owner did not want to loose more light. So the adapter is in fact quite big (almost as long as the FX1 itself).

How much more light does the Enhanced/Flip lose? Seemed like you had plenty of light for this test.

That is weird. The enhanced letus IS the flip version of the regular letus. On the letus35 website the letus enhanced is described as only being different from the original letus on account of being able to flip the image (probably done with mirrors, hence the size and increased light loss when compared to the original letus).

Anyway, the footage looks good. What lens did you use?
