My First short with my AF100

I think you need to change laboratories. They scratched your neg and put a lot of dust on your print!

Shooter, the AF100 is digital.... no film was used. Have you not read Barry's book? What you are seeing is the effect of shooting a subject during a dust storm with a little bit of grease applied to the lens to give it a different look. Good job Jon! Very antique of you!

Paul, Craig is obviously joking about the film effect that Jon applied in post.
The black specs get really annoying by the way.

How things come around. The first film I ever made back in 1965 was shot on a fixed lens 8mm Movinette 8B clockwork camera. The filmstock was Kodachrome and looked just like Jon's film. I received my AF101 a few days ago and look forward to dusting off the fixed lens shooting skills.

I know it's kinda backwards of me to "dirty up" the picture. But I shot the footage and was effecting it and the idea just popped into my head. Cinema verite style came to mind so I sorta went for that look.

Very nice. You have a lovely rhythm to your editing. I enjoyed this clip.
