...and it wound up being nationally televised. Nothing big to many people, but heck, it's my first so I'm going to stay excited, dang it.

Very very simple player profile :30 ad bit for AFI, televised during the Under Armour All America Game on ESPN. InterSport Chicago handled all the pre- and post-production. Production itself (my bit) was pretty spartan: a pair of 5D3's, 24-105, 70-200/4, my Lowell DV Creator 55 kit, and a few reflectors, with a second camera op and sound recordist (with gear) for the interviews. We had very specific interview angle requests, and one conference room for all three indoor interviews with a desire for three different looks, so the hardest part of the job was all the interior decorating
I can't say I utilized the 5D3 to its fullest on the game footage, at all... or probably on any other part of the thing... but I enjoyed getting to play with the Mk3 and wasn't thoroughly disappointed in what we produced. So far as I can tell no grading was done on the footage for the final piece.
