Well for me, having used both, I prefer the Blackbird stabilizer. The weight distribution makes more sense, and their friction control on the gimbal is awesome to me. It's also lighter overall so I feel I can get a lighter final setup on it compared to the two. Not that they aren't both great. Given I have access to CMR here in Raleigh, I am GOING to make my AF100 work in the Blackbird!

My Af-100 flies just fine on my CMR Blackbird and the Merlin vest and arm.

That is what I have heard. I am going to try the Merlin Vest and Arm next week and see how I like it. Are you finding you used all the weights that came with it?
