My first quick AF100 test

I did a super quick test with the AF 100. I used editman's settings. I wanted to see how a chain link fence dolly shot would hold up. I'm pretty happy with the results. I'm learning new things everyday and continuously testing. I'm getting sick and tired of myself scrutinizing every pixel though I have to say. I just want to dive into telling stories. I remember watching movies and seeing the jitter and the scratches and the dust pops and not thinking anything of it. It was actually comforting. I was watching Jaws today and there are day for night scenes that are really really grainy but it doesn't matter because the story is so damn good. I find myself getting wrapped up in trying to attain the perfect pristine image and I need to back off and just start shooting. I'm really happy with the AF 100 and it's just a matter of tweaking it here and there. I'm just happy not to see moire and aliasing.

Here's the test. I used the "smooth cam" filter in FCP and it's making the image a bit wonky at times. I was driving and shooting at the same time. It was really unstable. Grey and cloudy day, no color correction. A bit soft, hard to drive and focus.

Completely agree I'm still in the "getting to know the AF101" phase at the moment, I want to get out too
