My First Post and Camera test

this video is a collage of random footage I took while testing the camera when I first got it. My favorite two clips are the last two.

These images are straight out of the Camera into FCP HD into a Quick Time .mov file. There is no color correction or retouching of any sort. I just throw this together; it has no story and doesn't have to make sense.

Please tell me what you think.. Thanks

You have some nice footage there. You should invest in a tripod if you don't have one already. If you do, use it. Handheld nature footage can be distracting for that very reason - it's shaky. You might try stepping the iris down a bit to underexpose slightly, that will give some of your shots some more richness.

I liked your low shot of the ducks, I like to get down at ground level with animals, it makes it much more interesting. Some of your seagull shots could have been cut a small bit to avoid them flying out of the shot or into an obstruction but other than that, I think you've got great potential.

Nice job...
