just filmed my first projekt with the hvx (got it 1 week ago), a music video, and i gotta say this camera is just ****ing great.
here are some screens. with a redrock m2 (just turned down the blacks a little in fcp)

I´m so happy with my setup now.

you can´t really see how crisp it is here, cause there was a lot fo movement in the shots, gain came from the blacks, i just have to try it out a little bit. was to lazy now

what was all done in post? what was it like shooting at the sun? guessing game?

just turned down the blacks a little bit, thats all.

i knew that spot before because i shot some skating there in 2006, so i kind of knew what the sun was like and how its going to turn out, the camera handeled it just like i wanted it, with flares and contrasts, all the wideangle stuff was handheld, and it wasn´t that hard with the m2. got some great shots. i´m going to post the video when its finished.

Did you bounce back any of the sunlight?
The shots without sky in the BG look great, but the wide shot with the totally clipped sky are a bummer...
