My first music video

Great job on the video!!

Great job on the video!!

I just watched the music video you shot and wanted to say great job! Keep at it 'cause you've got a great style and great ideas. That video is an awesome calling card for you so if you can keep doing some freebies and build up your reel you'll be on your way!
Have you been to www.mandy.com? People are always looking for DPs or directors to work on shorts or music videos.

Good luck and keep at it!

best,
Daniel

It looks amazing. Try to find some festivals for it so you can get some awards.
Can you tell us what you did for color?

Very well done, indeed!
Would you mind telling us a bit regarding the "film like" effect. I guess that is what others call rotoscopy.

That was just a really great, fun video. I am extremely impressed. I loved the song! It was so much fun watching that video. The song by itself is good, and enjoyable, but the extra element you added by bringing the song to life with the video is work well done. Wow!

I hope Connor doesn't mind me bringing up this thread again, but we had a meeting and talked about his video a bit and I want to try to promote his work to people who can give him further opportunities as a director because I absolutely loved this video and I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see what he could do with a higher budget even ;)

If you go to http://www.shutzi.com and click on portfolio, you'll see the video in higher resolution and it's much more gratifying, it looks gorgeous I think. Check it out Justin et al if you have a chance.
