My first music video with DVX for my band

I thought it was pretty good. The only thing I questioned was the beginning. I thought the grass, chess, and bum shots could have gone by faster or just not be there at all, IMO.

i diddnt get the story behind it at all. I found the contrast between the purply-blue, and the goldish look of the band jarring. I really like the picture quality of the band to be really good and i quite liked it. All in all it was pretty good. keep it up

cut the 1st 2 shots go right to the band...then bring the storyline in effect after introducing the band members.....or instraments.......no offense...but im tired of emo.....go ahead and just take a gun to your head....sorry about that.....

I liked this video, and the cinematography was excellent. I agree that the first few opening shots should have gone by a bit faster, but over all, this is a great piece of work.

The story and intro sequences weren't clear to me, either, but I liked the the overall look of the band shots.

One minor suggestion is to make sure that all of your shots match what's happening in the music; I remember seeing a close up of your drummer jamming with the hi-hat, but I couldn't hear it in the music at all. It only seemed to happen once, though, so I don't think it's problematic.

decent. definitely.

I think though that some of the shots were too stationary as opposed to some being incredibly kinetic and lively. overall, I liked it.

Thanks everybody who replied all the feedback was great. But as for

This was because I had just got the camera and I'm in the band I shot all the other footage except for me and when the whole band is playing, I haden't built up the confidence to let anybody else touch it. But I know exactly where you're coming from. Thanks again

i hear that! in my band i have to do everytihng that's not the other instruments... recording, webpage, photography, and now i have to start thinking about doing some sort of video... seeing as though i'm going to have to do it some shots will end up on the tripod... that's just the way it goes. but, i'm a firm believer in 'if you want it done right, do it yourself'... or maybe it's just that there's no one else.

you did a good job. i like the shots of the band most... nice colors.

rock on.
