My First Grab for DVX User

A quick uncorrected grab of a project I'm working on.

Looks good from what I can see. The colors came through nicely, and it has just a tint of softness to it. What's the project for? What settings did you use? did you light it? Or is that existing light?

uh, its just a grab. If you're going to post grabs post a couple of the not just one. Can't really say much about it other than its some dude installing a computer chip in his head.

I always use Vasilne intensive care.

Is it slightly out of focus?

Neither man's eyes seem to be sharp... were you using auto focus that would have focused on his hand probably?

The settings were stock, shot in 24P. I had a soft box in front of them. Yes, it is slightly out of focus because I wanted a sorta soft look while I was panning.

And no, that ain't a chip goin' in his head. It's a tat going on his shoulder. It will make more sense once you see more grabs and video.

The project is kind of a documentary/reality show type thing.

I don't think that dropping focus is the best way to get a soft look... it just looks out of focus...

There are several filters that can produce a nice effect in post. I use silk and fog for FCP.
