My first Gh1 video test

I've had this baby for a month but it wasn't until this past weekend that I got to shoot some video with it. Had some issues with over-exposing and under-exposing, even with the Fader ND. I take it as my lack of experience shooting with the camera. I was using the +3/-3 meter at the bottom but I guess it only helped slightly. Any tips?

thanks.

... i have used the gh1 for very little time, but the first thing i noticed was that it tends to overexpose in auto, and even if you use manual and trust the exposure meter you can get fooled.... i usually use half stop underexposure or basically the WYSIWYG method... with the few tests i've made when it looks right in the evf it looks right recorded as well, regardless of what exposure meter says... should be usefull to learn to use histogram.. but haven't had time yet plus i find it quite distracting.

Hey, some nice shots in there, going from bright sunlight to deep shade is always going to be tricky to match up. The histogram along with the lower meter is a good combination I find. In bright sunlight it's hard to gauge exposure visually on the lcd without some kind of hood or shade too.
