I saw a motoX course off the freeway and had some free time. I shot 720p/24p 60fps. No real slomotion, Slowed down in post a little, sometimes ramped but nothing major. I did not color correct. I also used differnt Settings, so that is why certain things pop and certain things dont. I also got a tripod that day and want to learn how to use it, and needed to see if I could pan and tilt right :) The tripod's performance is better than me, so I need some practice. If I get too much traffic I will have to take down. If someone knows a place I can put up without loosing quality that would be kewl. 6.8mbs. 555x312

remove the sapces and extra periods from your file name.

Haha, modifications.

That footage is great. It's so clear. It just looks really good, great work.

However, some of the images were more bland than the ones with the bright orange dirt, maybe if you CC'd a little orange in there it would bring out the sky and the dirt.

well, it doesnt work for me... and I suspect a few others as well (I can assure you I'm not the ONLY person in the world with this particular combination of platform and web-browser)

yer file name is - motoX-H.264 800Kbps.mov


to ensure maximum compatibilty for all platforms and web-browsers one should not have spaces or "."'s IN the file name.

something along the lines of - motoX-H264-800Kbps.mov

if you dont care that there are some that wont be able to see yer work because of your file naming... rock on.
 
That whole post slow-mo thing wasn't really doing it for me. But other than that I thought it looked really good as far as color and lighting go. But if you go out there again you should try some different angles and shoot it in 720p 24N 60fps. You said that you did shoot it in this setting...so there should have been some sweet slow-mo. I would check your settings.

Also the mirror effect looked a little odd.
 
File name changed to motox.mov thanks for the tip. will help me in the future. I am sure it were ya PC users having the issue (being I have never had on an apple) :)

Also I shot is 720p/24p 60fps, NOT 24PN 60fps, so I did not get the slow mo, I did it is post :( Did not work out to well :)
 
I also shot with the Iris on Auto, I find myself shooting a lot in Manual mode, but I have to White balance when I change angles. Dont know if I need to but I am doing to make the colors are the same :) Now when shooting manual mode, I can choice between manual iris and auto iris, it seems as if sometimes when in a dark area the auto iris is dark, and again in some light it is too bright, most of the time I trust the iris and it brings it up to the right amount of exposure,then when it sets I switch back to manual so when I pan Across a window the iris doesnt close darkening everything, Here is what happend the other day. I was shooting indoors, for one of my real estate videos and I went auto iris and it was DARK. So I went back to manual iris And opened the aperture so it looked consistant with the other light through out the house.



So I guess here is my questions. When do you shoot with Iris mode in auto or manual (indoors, backlight, sports, outside? thanks
