My First film.

Shot my first seven pages of a ten page script today. Now I know what you guys mean when you talk about how the only way to truly learn is from practical, hands-on experience. My wife said I was smiling all day long and she's right, and now I know that this is what I was born to do (and I know you mother%$#@$#$ know what I'm talking about).

My DP and boom guy told me that it was a great experience because I was prepared and (seemed to) know what I was doing. And they're right, I was Crazy prepared with the shot list, extra bulbs, you name it, and the reason is BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS. I have learned so much on this page in the short time I've been around. I'd go as far as saying that I've learned more from you guys than I did in six and half years at College and I don't think I'm kidding, which is, kinda sad.

This group is really an extraordiary thing. And I hope that in a couple of years, I'm one of the old guys, the veterens, who sit back and dole out wisdom when needed. You know, give back a little bit.

Anyway, thanks you guys. I couldn't have done it without ya.

PS. My m2 showed up Via UPS to interrupt a critical shot. But it's okay I didn't have it because, I mean, how Guerilla are you if you use an M2 on your first shoot?

I know the exact feeling you describe.

Awesome, I'm glad you're having a good experience.
