I just wanted to share that my first feature film is 85% done, I shot on the HVX200 with the m2 lens adapter after reading on this forum and realizing it was legit if theatrical distribution was ever an option.
It took a looooot of time and energy and effort to get there, I almost have a picture lock now in the editing room. I went solo on this project by the way due to budget constraints, wrote, produced, funded, directed, edited, vfx, but luckily had a lot of help here and there from family, friends, and this forum of course!
and other professionals I met along the way. I've been working 2 jobs throughout and going to college during the whole production, so this has been a night and weekend project now for almost 2 years, but its time for me to step it up and finish this. It will be finished by December 2010, and I'll start submitting it to festivals, and start talking to distributors.

So yes Im coming to this forum now once again to learn, and to ask how fellow filmmakers make it through to finish a film 100%. How does one focus! There are so many distractions in the world, plus you still want to enjoy life. How do you all focus to finish? Why do we have to sleep, lol. One thing I started doing is meditation, after I get off work feeling tired, going out with friends or getting on facebook or youtube will ruin my productive night, Ill just get distracted for hours and not advance on my film. If I do some meditation for a little while, I just get up refreshed and ready to start editing or work on some visual effects, etc.
