The Live DVD that we shot a year ago for a band called Agnostic Front has finally been released nation wide. You can get it in most big major chain stores or you can support a fellow DVXuser and buy it on my website. Please support us.

Roger Miret says of the DVD/CD, “We had been a band for 25 years and done a lot of things, but we had never done an official DVD. We thought that it would be great to do a live DVD, but only if we could actually capture what it is really like to be at one of our shows. Agnostic Front has always been a live band so capturing that truth and the essence of the group was extremely important to us. When talking with our friend Ian McFarland from Killswitch Productions about the idea, he felt the same way. He said “the way to film this correctly would be to see it from the fans’ perspective, to really give the viewer the feeling they were there. We need to make something people will remember.”
I don’t know how else to describe this DVD other than “chaos at it's best. There are bodies flying around everywhere. People with smiles on there faces, head butting each other. No attitudes... no violence... just respect and genuine NYHC at it's best!”
The audio portion of this DVD/CD is unreal. Dean Batulonis and Bob Strakele from Atomic Recording Company plus Matt Henderson (formally of Agnostic Front, Madball) did a great job with the recording and mixing. It is hands down the best live recording of us to date!
I feel that this is one of our most exciting releases even down to the packaging. I mean the cover is just perfect. The whole layout and design is incredible. It reminds me of when I went to the record store and brought “Victim In Pain” the day it came out. I opened it and looked through it; I remember feeling so proud to have been a part of the whole creation from start to finish. This DVD makes me feel the same way. It’s 100% us being us, a true representation of Agnostic Front live at CBGB’s.
Reviews and Press:
“Fast, raw and live from the birthplace of New York Hardcore, this is how AF
was meant to be captured!”
Jamey Jasta, Hatebreed
“AF are the undisputed kings and legends of NYHC. If you need proof, it’s
all here. This is the video equivalent of having your teeth kicked in.
Respect.”
Joey Jordison, Slipknot
“A brilliant look inside the heart and soul of a band that has stood the
test of time and trends, always staying true to real HARDCORE!”
Al Barr, The Dropkick Murphys
“This is how I like my music DVDs-- totally non-sterile, raw and boisterous.
It bounces off the walls like I did when I first heard United Blood. And
who can argue with Vinnie Stigma’s words of wisdom? Basically, ****ing
great!”
Barney, Napalm Death
“I saw AF in 1984 and it changed my life. It was the most intense, extreme,
brutal music that I had ever heard and you could dance to it! They set the
bar not just for NYHC, but for the world. This band hasn’t lost a step in
over 20 years.”
Scott Ian, Anthrax
“AF are the kings of metal/hardcore crossover. They always have been and
they always will be. This DVD is the proof.”
Brian Fair, Shadows Fall
