Well it didnt turn out the way I wanted but either way I learned something. Let me know what you think I know theres flaws.

Not bad. I enjoyed it. May I ask why you decided to use the anamorphic aspect ratio? Just curious on the asthetic reasons.

Well to be honest about that question let me briefly break down my thoughts on this.

1. I had to write, cast, produce, find help, locate a spot, storyboard, use the HVX 200 for the first time, edited on FCP for the first time (I usually use Vegas) and get it all done in a week.

2. Im not bitching, but I realized that on the day of shooting that my head was spinning from all my ideas, and with all the directing and running the camera at the same time, plus I was loosing light so fast, I only had an 1 1/2 hours to shoot it.


So the short answer is I really jacked up my shots. LOL. They just didnt have the care I usually use in framing them. So the letter box is just a way to dress up my mistake. LOL.:dankk2:

Just wondered because it gives it a very epic theatrical release look and for a commercial, that aspect ratio is rare.

Agreed. We are def on the same page with that. I shot it full screen. Looked like crap 'o la.
