COMMERCIAL: My first commercial ''Conserv it or lose it''

Hi everyone

There is my first commercial what i did. I live in Estonia and this commercial is filmed there too. If somebody know where is Estonia then post a message. I would be glad if you know about this little country.

I'm not a big fan of it. I like the way that it's put forward - There's nothing really "new" about the concept, but it works and it did actually take me a while to realize what the ad was about (In a good way).

The technical execution is really poor. Some shots are graded terribly and just feel like you failed to set proper white balance. That first bike-shot is starts out of focus and it feels like we never really enter proper focus for more than a split second. The voice-over felt phony and I would have much rather had it be a woman than some guy trying to make his voice more low-pitch than it is.

Concept works for me and the pacing is good, but you really need to know your gear and the technical aspects that go into both the shooting and the editing.

I learn a lot to make better videos every time. Ecactly this video was filmed 2 years ago, when i didint know much about filmmaking etc. Now I have learned more about lighting, sound and cinematography. Next week i will start filming new short film. If it's done i will post it here.
