My film won the first prize

This is a short selection from my documentary which won the first prize in the International OFF Filmfestival in Bergamo, Italy. In this film I documented the activity of the guardian of a dam, Oreste Forno, a famous mountaineer in the 80's and 90's, who tells of the importance of his work and reveals his respect for water as a source of energy and and his passion for the mountains. A story dominated by a passion for the mountains which conditions every aspect of life, in a picturesque natural setting. I shot the whole film with an AF-101 camera with several Canon FD lenses, while the aerial shots with a HVX-201 from an helicopter. Editied in Apple FCPX.

It looks like a great story you have some beautiful shots there. I can only imagine that it might have been very challenging to get to some of those locations. Congrats on the win!
 
Thankyou Garnet for your comment. It was quite an hard work filming in those locations, but I got great satisfaction from my panny cameras, mostly the AF101, shooting beautiful landscapes.
I'll try to upload the complete film, which is 39 minutes, on Vimeo the next week. I'll try.
