My DVX100B wont playback

Hi there

I've done some really nice shots of an electronic concerts.
But now when I want to transfer the video to my Mac the camera does not playback when I turn the lever in the playback direction (this also does not work when the camera is not connected to the mac).

Have you got any ideas about what's wrong? The deadline for the movie to be done is 1. december, so I'm quite busy :(

This is the first time I'm using the camera, so I have no expierience with it

I really hope you can help me

I think Gary might be correct. There is no "lever" on the DVX100b. There is a
button on the back of the camera (bottom left) that says Camera / VCR. When
you turn the camera on, the default is camera mode. Press the button once and
you'll be in VCR or "playback" mode.

To control the playback, you use the menu joystick (play is up, stop is down, etc).
This is located on the LCD of the camera (top right) just beside the Menu
button and just above the shutter speed controls.

what kind of cable are you connecting the camera to your Mac?
I had a problem with a firewire before and I need to replace it one time
