My DVX100 on A+E tonight!

Hey guys, sorry for the late notice but I thought you might be interested to see my DVX100 in action on tonight's USARPS Championship on A+E at 10 pm (pst + est). It airs right after the Superman documentary that is from 8-10.

The USARPS is the Rock, Paper, Scissors championship that was held in Vegas in March. In the segments where you see the Commisioner of the USARPS, Matti Leshem, those are the segments shot with my DVX100. So check it out and see....once again.... what a DVX100 looks like on cable network tv.

Rock Paper Scissors championship? What constitutes a professional RPS player? What tactics exactly give them the edge over a novice? Facial psyche-outs?
 
YES!!!

I bought the RPS book a while ago and have wanted to see an actual match for ever, it being filmed with the DVX is just like a huge added bonus.

But the main ability that a pro would have over an amature is being able to read people and their throws. Some people have certain "tells", where they do little things like tense up some muscles in their hands when they're about to throw a scissors. There are a bunch of tactics though that they can use. Seems kinda funny for rock paper scissors, but yeah...it's cool!

There was a big write-up on this event along with a huge expose on the latest Tiddlywinks doping scandal.

I'm watching it now. Hopefully the part you talked about comes on soon. I never did like this game. But I would like to see the DVX in action
 
Wow! I never thought I'd get the illustrious and almighty John Hudson to reply to my little post! That's awesome... its a night of great things.

Hopefully some of you are watching the show and enjoying it for what it is... a mockumentary about Rock, Paper, Scissors.

And its true what the one gentleman said about tells and such, it's a little like Poker in that way...and with 50,000 on the line... its VERY much like Poker.

Hope y'all saw the part with the DVX and the Commisioner. I know the DVX was used for other parts of the event, but I can't tell you for sure which parts, I imagine much of the crowd footage... again, don't want to put out info. that isn't entirely accurate.

whoa i missed it . we used to play this in jr high and highschool and when you lost you would get slapped by the other player on the inside forearm with two fingers, man we would have bruises that lasted for weeks...such a fun game?
 
I know a kid that went down to vegas for it. He lost in the 2nd round. He was representing Western Mass. On a side note, the night that he qualified to go to Vegas, I later beat him at rock paper scissors.
