My DVX Scene File Tweaked for Noise.

Howdy,

I've been reading some threads and have been trying to tweak my Scene File Settings to minimalize noise.

Settings were,

24PA
Detail Level: -7
Detail Coring: +3
V Detail: +2
Master Ped: 0
Knee: Mid
Gamma: B.Press
Matrix: Cinelike

Now, I shot something in my kitchen with available light. Can anyone tell me why my whites are super noisy (keeping in mind I boosted them in post with FCP from 255 to 285). Any reason they are noisy besides my CC. They were only about 1/2 stop under. Did my Knee:Mid contribute to the noise?

Or am I just going crazy and this is all pretty normal?

All pics taken right from FCP as a screenshot. 1st at 'Fit to Window', 2nd at 200% and 3rd at 400%.

i cant see anything, so maybe some light would help tremendously...also Cinelike matrix in low light? sounds like a receipt for disaster.

obviously more light would make the test easier on the camera, but if i really want to test it's capabilities and limitations, the camera and all it's ensuing glory must be pushed to or past it's breaking point.
