My "Ditch" List for Panasonic !

I didn't say it wasn't a true HD camera. I use it every day. It serves me well. I love it.

A greater pixel count in place of pixel shift to get to HD resolution was my point.

Yah, I know. Just dreaming.:)

I have had clients comment on the softness of the image compared to some other HD footage. I like the touch of softness in situations like interview setups, but softness in a field of grass isn't so great.

I have had more clients comment on the great feel of the HVX footage than I've had complain about a little softness.

i just shot for a pretty big "stop smoking therapy" comapny. the execs, and Ad people, and director were enamoured by the HVX image. Yea its a touch soft compared to say..... a F900. Thats like saying a DVX is a touch soft compare to an SDX900.... whole different league.

In particular, they were referring to the Sony FX1 footage.

I've owned and used them both and I see what they mean.

Still, no comparison with the HVX.
