Pretty sure Digital Juice's licenses don't allow any re-sales. See the Video Traxx license here: http://cloudfront.public.digitaljuice.com/Support/eula/EULA_VideoTraxx.pdf

The relevant parts:
This is a non-exclusive, non-transferable license agreement between you and Digital Juice, Inc
and
You may not sell, sublicense, loan, give, or transfer any part of the Data or a copy
thereof (except in accordance with the permitted use in a work created by you), to another
person or company unless that person or company is also a licensee of this product.

I think that refers to the individual files. I'm pretty sure if you're selling the whole, uncopied original DVDs it's allowed.

That blog post was pretty interesting. I personally have about 20 collections of Jumpbacks and Juicedrops, so I decided to check out the EULAs (having never read them.)

Jumpbacks:
The Jump Backs may not be transferred to third parties through the use of on-line services or networks. Placing the Jump Backs on a website is only permitted when being streamed via a format wherein it cannot be illegally downloaded for
use (i.e. Flash).
.....
You may not sell, sub-license, loan, give, or transfer any part of the Jump Backs or a copy thereof (except in
accordance with the permitted use in a work created by you), to another person or company unless that person or company
is also a licensee of this product.

Juicedrops:
You may not sell, sub-license, loan, give, or transfer any part of the Juice Drops or a copy thereof (except in accordance with the permitted use in a work created by you), to another person or company unless that person or company
is also a licensee of this product.
You may not include any Juice Drops image as part of a content collection, set, individual image, template, or
creative content product (royalty-free or otherwise) that is in any way similar to or competitive with content products
created by Digital Juice.

I would assume that selling the discs would remove your licensee status and grant it to the new owner. But that's what I get from reading that, and I'm not a lawyer.

Anyways, I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I found this interesting as I've been contemplating selling my collection as well.

Meh, free bumps for the OP. :)

I think the "catch" is that the license is non-transferable (early on in the terms). Since you can't transfer the license you can't give someone else the discs since they can't become a licensee. I do know there used to be threads on their forums but I think they removed all the forums when all the copyright stuff exploded on them. I think that term about giving to another licensee is so artists can work with companies that have bought the product/etc.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, if someone wants to buy them as long as they know DJ won't honor the transfer then have at it. I'd love to sell my Video Traxx 1-3 SD collection if I could but I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with it, by their design.
